At first I edited out any blemishes and rough patches of paint using spot healing brush and the stamp tool to create a smoother more appealing image. I removed any flaws which would make my image look amateur or messy blurred to give some aspects a softer image. I then changed the contrast and brightness to give a more effective and dramatic look to the picture. This immediately made the image look more suited towards the magazine and fit in with the sort of image I researched for this. After this I changed the image to black and white and yet again changed the settings such as contrast and brightness to better fit in with this harsher black and white look I was attempting to achieve.
